We follow the exciting day-to-day life of the Disfrutar restaurant up to the emotional ceremony in which they receive the award for the best restaurant in the world, we discover the moving intimacy of three chefs who both thrived and struggled at elBulli, and ultimately triumphed with a culinary vision of their own. We also delve into the spectacular creative process behind haute cuisine.

The world of gastronomy and documentaries, brought together in a major event.
The documentary was selected for the DocsBarcelona 2025 festival and its premiere brought together a large representation of the best Catalan chefs. In addition, the premiere was also one of the central events of the Catalonia World Gastronomic Region events.
PLAT EN BLANC, AN INTIMATE LOOK AT THE WORLD’S BEST RESTAURANT.
The Disfrutar documentary was premiered within the framework of DocsBarcelona and the World Gastronomy Region.
On May 14 we released Plat en blanc (Blank Plate), a documentary that delves into the day-to-day life of the Disfrutar restaurant, considered the best in the world. The film, co-produced by Abacus and 3Cat with the collaboration of the magazine Cuina and the support of the Generalitat Government of Catalonia, highlights a culinary project of excellence rooted in the territory and its collective talent.
The premiere took place at the Phenomena Experience cinema in Barcelona, as part of the DocsBarcelona festival programme and the events of Catalonia as a World Region of Gastronomy. The event brought together big names in gastronomy, producers, communicators and institutional representatives in a shared tribute to cuisine as a cultural and community expression.
Plat en blanc is also a declaration of intent: to tell stories that inspire and connect with the values of cooperation, innovation and commitment to the territory.
