This entertaining program aimed to choose Catalonia’s favourite monument with direct audience participation. The program was broadcast in prime time on TV3, published in Sàpiens and supported on social media with native content.

The Catalan Agency for Cultural Heritage aimed to bring the monuments that represent Catalan heritage closer to the general public and exponentially increase the number of visitors.
Together with the magazine Sàpiens, a part of our communication group, we created Battle of the Monuments.
This transmedia contest (television, paper and digital) allowed the audience to vote for their favourite monument.

In Battle of the Monuments, two monuments went head-to-head every week and the public voted for their favourite on the program’s social media platforms.



In the grand finale broadcast live on TV3 in prime time presented by Roger de Gràcia, the audience voted for their favourite monument in Catalonia.

The Battle of the Monuments is a transmedia project that offers different gateways to access the content. As content and story creators, we designed numerous routes so that the audience can access them via any path they prefer.
With this format we achieved the project’s objective: to popularize Catalonia’s monuments among the general public and exponentially increase the number of visits to the monuments.
