Opening the town square

Adrenaline, success and failure, rivalry, fear, growing up, beginnings… everything we experience during our lives can also be found in the world of the castellers or human towers, and this is precisely what we see in this show. Each episode kicks off with a feeling or a value that features prominently in the world of human towers to show how these concepts are also commonplace in our daily lives.
Actor and former casteller Biel Duran and designer and former casteller Aina Mallol address these concepts from a personal and professional perspective thanks to renowned figures, experts and experiences far removed from the world of human towers. With this approach, Opening the town square is aimed at both viewers who are passionate about human towers and those who aren’t: some, because they will see the world of human towers covered in a way that has never been seen before; and others, because they will discover that everything involved in the human towers is much closer to their lives than they had previously believed.
