The value of showing who we really are
2022

A recruitment campaign for future students with an entertaining web series for the University of Vic This values-based web series explains the university through a fictional story created with an inclusive perspective.

For UVic

Just like every year, the University of Vic wanted a campaign to attract new students.

Every day thousands of projects around the world seek to provide concrete solutions to concrete problems related to sustainability. We’ll explain these projects to you.

Fixing the Future Festival is the largest and most inspiring international event on the subject of the future.

This festival reflects on how to build a fairer and more sustainable future with different offshoots, in various countries, adapted to specific themes and clients.

A groundbreaking web series

Lisa is a girl with autism who’s attending her first day at the University of Vic and faces the challenge of integrating into this new environment: she finds herself in a new stage of her life, in a new place and studying a degree that is typically male dominated. For Lisa, everything is a little more difficult.

Lisa is played by Emma Cunill, an autistic actress who has been working for a long time to normalize autism through her social media profile.

This digital content combines education and entertainment and is a marketing campaign at the same time.

The power of engaging students

The production had to have an educational element, so we created a team made up of department heads and two professional actresses, on the one hand, and students on the other.

The department heads not only led the production, but also ran a mentoring program for the students based on the production of the web series.

We have a team of students from all departments who worked as actors and actresses, technicians, assistant directors, cameramen, photographers, makeup artists, etc.

LISA is a series for new students, made by students, supervised by professionals and starring an actress with autism.

Laia Fontàn:
from Vic to Netflix and back

Laia Fontàn is an actress who has participated in productions such as Heirs to the Land (Netflix), The Hockey Girls (TV3) or The Battle of the Monuments (TV3) and who returns to the university she attended.

LISA was unveiled to the world with a grand premiere

The web series launched with a big event at the University of Vic cinema, with a photocall and party included.

The audience watched the four six-minute episodes of LISA.
The episodes were posted in their entirety on YouTube.

An incredible social media campaign

Three weeks before LISA’s premiere, we launched a website with content derived from the series, showcasing the entire pre-production, production and premiere process.

We adapted the campaign to the target audience’s language, featuring content designed for social media.

The campaign featured native content for Instagram, live broadcasts with the actresses, TikTok challenges, and clips from the production and making of the series showing how the students worked, while also promoting a major viral challenge.

LISA has been selected for Serielizados, the Zoom Festival and the Vigo Inclusive Film Festival.
