The exhibition Dues Pedres, Persistent Landscapes boasts an exceptional catalogue. A special, personalised issue of Arrels dedicated exclusively to dry stone construction.
Declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, the vivid presence of dry stone construction in the Mediterranean area has moulded and left its mark on our region and also on our character and relationship with nature.
Featuring the carefully curated graphic editing by the magazine Arrels, this catalogue masterfully follows the trail of dry stone construction and how it has survived over time with articles by Sergi Martín, the writer Iago Blasi and the architect Guim Costa Calsamiglia, among others.
The exhibition, which opened in December 2023 at the Palau Robert, has also toured other venues in Catalonia, such as the Museu Terra (L’Espluga de Francolí).
