2019

A documentary that portrays the lives of four members of the Lebanese Christian elite. In the midst of a daily life defined by insecurity and war, the main characters have overcome their fear of the future and the lifestyle war imposes, acting as if nothing has changed since Lebanon’s independence and living in a bittersweet oasis where an intense social life, sumptuous parties and the extravagance of times past blend together. Through the documentary we witness the end of an era and a way of life whose days are numbered.
