A partnership between cuisine and sustainability.

Barcelona Sustainable Gastronomy is an initiative that promotes a sustainable, ethical and healthy culinary model in the city of Barcelona. The aim is to connect local cuisine with environmental, social and economic sustainability, promoting practices that respect the environment, food culture and people’s well-being.

The culinary story behind each dish.

The capsules capture the essence of the restaurants from the inside: interviews with the people who run the restaurant in which they tell us about the importance of sustainability in their restaurant, their contact with local producers and the consciouspreparation of dishes, connecting the local region and creativity.

A vibrant guide with real examples.

The digital capsules published on the Instagram of each establishment in collaboration with Visa Spain, Biosphere and VisitBarcelona highlight the guide and the network of restaurants committed to its values.

A warm and dynamic aesthetic that reflects the vitality of each restaurant.

The capsules offer an intimate and dynamic glimpse into the world of each restaurant. The editing, agile and rich in visual nuances, combines bursts of images and quick cuts that add a fast pace and variety, without ever losing the warmth of the story. Thanks to the voiceover that guides the narrative and the images synchronised with the music, each capsule becomes a short emotional journey that showcases the
value of sustainability in each establishment.

BEHIND THE INITIATIVE

A collaboration between culinary journalism and digital engagement.

Barcelona Sustainable Gastronomy is the result of a joint initiative with the CUINA magazine team. Together, we have developed everything from scratch, from designing and building the website to defining the concept of this recognition and creating the list of participating restaurants. This collaboration has allowed us to combine journalistic and culinary expertise with a digital and strategic vision to develop a project with real impact.
