Ana Polo revisits the lives of thirty women who have made history

Montserrat Roig, Gala Placidia, Yoko Ono, Rosa Parks, Irene Polo, Florence Nightingale, Maria Aurèlia Capmany… These are just some of the names included in Historic Women, a series of thirty podcasts that Sàpiens has created with the journalist, comedian, scriptwriter and writer Ana Polo.

The series, produced in collaboration with the Generalitat de Catalunya, is dedicated to thirty women from different countries, fields and historical periods. In addition to delving into the women’s lives and careers, the episodes present the historical context in which each lived and focus not so much on their successes, but on their life journeys. Each episode stays true to the historical record and features a touch of Ana Polo’s trademark humour.
